*Darrin Jackson's first uncomfortable tangent: Bringing up global overpopulation after an interview with a NASA astronaut.  Or as DJ would say, a Nassau astronaut.

*A syncophantic interview with Bud Selig!

Strapping it down

In honor of Opening Day and Luke Appling's 100th birthday, I'm taking an extended lunch break for today's Sox game.  Catching up on one piece of business:

A couple Sox received new contracts:
  • Matt Thornton: Three years, $3.25 million, plus options for '09 and '10.
  • Pablo Ozuna:  One year, $1.25 million extension, option for '09.
And Grady Sizemore just went deep off Jose Contreras.  I call do-over.
