The birds and the beans

I had huge plans to write the defining screed capturing the 2008 season to date, masterfully written with painstaking research, with statistics that may not have even been invented yet, but check out nevertheless, and insights that would blow your mind.

Instead, I've spent the last two hours getting a wild bird out of my apartment, and then trying to figure out how the hell it got in my apartment in the 20 minutes I was making my coffee run, considering I live in a complex, have just two windows with screens and there are no holes in either of them.

And I have to drive to Boston later this morning.  F'in bird.

Check back later today for a live blog from the stands at Fenway Park  Game time is 4:30 EST.  I'm guessing Charlie Haeger is starting for the Knights.
