White Sox 2018 spring training broadcast schedule

Cactus League play opens on Friday, with Tyler Danish taking the mound for the White Sox against the Dodgers at Camelback Ranch. You’ll be able to take in the game in one form or another over the course of the day.

  • Webcast: whitesox.com, the first of 13.
  • Radio: WGN-AM 720, the first of 10 on the new radio flagship
  • TV: SportsNet LA, or MLB Network on tape delay at 10 p.m.

Below you’ll find the rest of the White Sox spring training broadcast schedule. A few notes:

  • MLB Network games are live unless noted, and a.m. times are the next day for obvious reasons.
  • The MLBTV schedule isn’t yet available, but usually the opposition’s broadcasts are available to watch there, so I’m assuming that’s the case.
  • It looks like seven games won’t have visuals, although it seems not every team puts out as thorough a press release as the White Sox do.

I’ll update this if the assumptions above don’t hold.

I actually looked at my app yesterday and was surprised it wasn’t updated yet. I’m in Virginia Beach so the mlbtv package is a necessity. How else can I watch James Shields stumble to toss 125 innings this summer. They charge you on March 1st for you renewal so I figured it would update fairly soon. I’m hoping Friday is also available on the app and not just webcast. Drinking in front of my computer is something I only do when I’m working not when I watch baseball. It just isn’t civilized.

For those of you that can’t get WGN, the Cub’s game next Tuesday is on MLBN at 4:00 eastern.

Thanks, Jim. This has become a high point every year. It mean baseball is really starting.

Seeing spring training baseball and warm weather, even if on a TV screen, knocks out the winter blues. Can’t wait til Friday!

Baseball is back, baby!

Humblebrag: I bought a signed HOF’er Frank Thomas bat at a charity event over the weekend. It is AWESOME!

Yeah bragging would be if you found the bat under the viaduct on 35th st.

Buying it is just a cool thing you did
