As bad as we think Hahn and Co. are, they are light years better than Gar/Pax.

I wholeheartedly disagree

When it comes time to write Jerry Reinsdorf’s obituary, writers should consult this podcast for assessing his legacy. Nice job, Josh.

Good job Nelson. I like the cut of this O’Donnell’s jib.

The only argument I’ll accept in defense of these two front offices is that there isn’t a distinguished line chomping at the bit to work for Jerry Reinsdorf.

Is there a distinguished line champing at the bit, tho?

I think that the White Sox have a better plan, but the Bulls have better drafting. I think the Bulls are about average at drafting and the Sox are below average.

One owner two teams suck…

I thought O’Donnell was spot on about the Bulls. Personally I think Gar/Pax is way worse than Kenny/Rick. The White Sox at least have a clear direction. Will it work? Who knows. But the approach at least has seemed clear for the last couple years. The Bulls? One bad fit after another. Terrible returns on a majority of their trades and most analysts seem to be flagging these deals as such pretty much right away. Lotta bad fits. Jabari? And how many PGs have cycled through since Rose? Sox are frustrating. But Bulls are on another level.
